    Angela,

One Is pretty obvious (hehe)...this M&A Community!

A couple of others that come to me quickly are AI and taking courses focused on integrating two companies together into one. This may be culture focused or systems focused learning. There are several out there...would have to find the best one for you and the M&A situation.

Great question! I look forward to hearing from others on it.

Great ideas Leslie. Prosci just offered an early insight into AI and Change Management. I suppose will see more on this topic this year. Culture assessment is primary for me as well. Thank you for your response.

This is a tough question for me because depending on the project you may not have the ability/ time to enroll in additional courses or conduct extensive reading or research on the subject matter.

    1. I think learning on the job from teammates and stakeholders impacted by the change is one approach.
    2. Another approach is to learn from groups like this one through posing questions and leveraging resources that would otherwise not be available to you. It's an Efficient and quick way to obtain best practices.
    3. Additionally, leveraging resources that you can consume on the go such as audio books and or podcasts are just a few ways to quickly upskill while you are in the middle of an M&A project.

Wow Marie what a great roadmap! I'm going to incorporate these ideas. The ACMP communities are a wonderful resource for going where no one has gone before! lol

Hi Angela, I found yesterdays "Introduction to Agile Change" webinar with Jen Frahm very interesting. I like using webinars as an opportunity to learn not only from the presenters but also from the attendees in the questions and real world experiences I find they chime in with.

Specifically with Agile, I'm trying to understand how applying little a thinking will improve my change strategies and execution. A globally consistent challenge for all of my acquisitions is resourcing. Jen was great at sharing how old CM strategies may no longer work in our world today, and I'm finding that an absolute in my work personally. There's an Agile community here too that I've joined to learn more from. I'm excited to see how M&A and Agile can intersect for better colleague experiences. I diverted topics there at the end on you and but would love to hear how others may be applying agile to M&A.

Becky. I've been having these conversations as well about how well CM strategies travel. I agree it's time to turn them on their head and it's ok if new tools evolve. Having tradition as a foundation is great but even our tools have to mature to meet our change projects.

I have experience in Agile and Change delivery. It can be quick slippery, especially transitioning from waterfall. I'd like to reach out to you to share findings and lessons learned, if that's ok.
