Michael - Loved that you shared the above. I would also add to your list the following:
The Journal of Applied Behavior Science: Focuses on change at group, organizational and systems level; explicitly seeks to inform practitioners and academics
Development and Learning Organization: Leans more towards practitioner-friendly
Organization Development Journal: Focuses on organizational development, change management and the practitioner/researcher boundary.
Strategic Journal of Business and Change Management: More niche, aiming at business and change management research with strategic relevance good for practical application...though less established.
I thought I would share...

Subject: Academic Resources for OCM-What Are Your Go-To Channels?
Hi Kate,
Good share! I also love Gartner's work and consider it one of the influencers in my OCM journey.
I am sharing the guidance we give our Organizational Change Leadership Master's Students.
1. Karmann Library > electronic resources: A to Z > A > ABI/Inform Complete. Other databases include Academic Search Complete and EBSCOhost.
2. Narrow your search by filtering by scholarly journals, peer-reviewed, and publication dates from 2019 to the present.
3. Recommend selecting articles from one of the following journals, as they are known for publishing quality articles on change leadership/management.
| •Journal of Change Management •Journal of Organizational Change Management •Journal of Organizational Behavior •Journal of Management •Leadership & Organization Development Journal | •Harvard Business Review •Human Relations •Journal of Applied Behavioral Sciences •MIT Sloan Management Review •Strategy and Leadership |

Hi Michael,
Great question! Gartner has some fantastic research on change management and role-specific priorities around the work. They publish several studies each year. I highly recommend reaching out to them. I've spent many years leading change efforts in higher ed, so always happy to be a thought partner on your efforts as well.
Best,
Kate

Hi,
I'm curating materials for organizational change management (OCM) and would love to tap into this group's collective wisdom. Whether you're teaching, researching, consulting, or leading transformation efforts, where do you typically find high-quality academic resources on OCM?
I'm especially interested in:
• Peer-reviewed journals or articles with practical relevance
• University syllabi or curated reading lists
• Open-access repositories or databases
• Authors or thought leaders whose work bridges theory and practice
Bonus points for sources that bridge the academic and practitioner worlds.
Looking forward to your insights-and happy to share a few of my favorites once the thread gets rolling!
