What has been your experience with confusion over job titles? I have been on change programs where my title was Project Manage and that is what they recruited for even though it was classic change effort. There were separate "projects" with PM's imbedded in the program. I have also experienced the opposite where the Change part of my position as "Change Manager" was a minor part of an overall Project, typically, in my experience, infrastructure efforts. The confusion seems to be around the use of the word "Project" not in the tasks necessary to accomplish the goals.
