I am seeing "Transformation" as the new buzzword with "Change Manager" being less of a dedicated role and change management becoming more of a desired competency across leadership and managerial roles. I am also seeing a number of AI Transformation roles crop up with companies dedicated specific roles to a mix of strategy and execution around AI adoption, usage, and proficiency.
I did recently take Leanova Academies AI Transformation course which provided alignment and a case study linked to the ACMP standard. I found while the case study and standard were helpful, like many certifications, it provided a foundation that needed to be strengthened through actual application and adapting the standard to the specific needs of the initiative.

Hi Frank, I agree with you that both Agile and AI are really the buzz topics these days amongst organizations. I look on job sites to see what the verbiage is in the job description, and both again always appear to be so relevant. I do find that organization believe that Agile means faster implementation and steps removed that may appear to be too fluffy. I am also seeing an uptick on PM and CM work combination in roles posted. .

Over the past 30 years or so, significant software changes have driven most of us to seek further certification in order to keep competitive in our companies or in the marketplace. Right now, it is AI. For several years it was every variation of Agile. We all can think of any number of these under the general umbrellas of Project and Change Management. When the market becomes saturated with an entry certification such as Agile, sub-specialization certs creep in such as Scrum or SAFE agile for example. These are supported by their own certification infrastructures.
I believe that AI, the current elephant in the room, will follow the same path, only in AI's case, the impact to the workforce will be far more dramatic. Sub-species of AI will pop up diluting the impact of any current AI certification. What do you think ACMP can do to maintain a leadership position in this new revolution. Personally, I believe this is as a significant change to the marketplace as network computing and the internet were when they came into play. How to we stay ahead? What is in your crystal ball?
